THE SHAKESPEARE EDIT
TSE Actors Studio workshops are designed to give professional actors the opportunity to continue to develop Voice, Text and Acting skills for Shakespeare. Regular workshops approach performance in ways specifically addressing the needs of the Jacobean stage - the craft of the classical actor.
At the same time, these workshops encourage the actor to develop skills required by the realist style, with a focus on the Stanislavski system and its developments, particularly the playfulness and musicality in the work of Evgeny Vakhtangov.
It is the interaction of the long-established traditions of England and Russia, the foremost exponents of the art of the actor, that underpins both the ethos and the aesthetic of TSE Studio.
Regular workshops, from beginner to advanced, are held both in the UK and Internationally, and are led by artistic director Paul Goodwin.
Next London workshops will be held on the stage of the Putney Arts Theatre and are limited to 10 participants.
New workshops start in September 2018
